MSCA DN-JD HAP3 project

Healthy Adaptation to Pregnancy, Postpartum and Parenthood

Project rationale

Why HAP3 project?

Annually, around 4 million European couples face life-changing transitions as they move from pregnancy to postpartum and early parenthood.

Obesity and mental health problems are the two most common and interconnected complications with significant implications for overall health and well-being of future families and high costs for society.

The HAP3 network builds capacity for tackling these challenges. To meet the needs of women and their families and assist care providers in their pivotal roles, integrative family-inclusive state-of-the-art monitoring and coaching modules are needed.
